What support may involve

  3. Practical feedback for families and, when consented to, relevant early learning or school teams.

A clear path

How to get started

  1. Start with a conversation

Tell us about the person, their strengths, everyday routines and the goals that matter now.

  2. Confirm the right next step

The team considers suitability, location, timing, fees and the most useful service or assessment.

  3. Review support together

Recommendations and supports are reviewed as priorities, environments and participation change.

Useful to know

Frequently asked questions

Does school readiness mean teaching the school curriculum?

It does not. The program focuses on functional participation, communication and routines rather than replacing classroom teaching.

Is every child placed in the same program format?

Each child is considered individually. Suitability, goals, group or individual format, timing and available places are discussed before enrolment.

Can parents be involved in school readiness support?

Yes. Parent and carer involvement can help selected strategies carry into home routines and the transition to school.
